Information & Acknowledgements

This camp was organised for the members of Bombay Natural History Society. (to know more about BNHS go to www.bnhs.org We stayed at Dasada where Rann Riders is situated www.rannriders.com Dasada is 90 kms by road from Ahmedabad (via Sanand & Viramgam) the largest city in Gujarat.
For making this trip a success, I extend my gratitude and appreciation to

1. Bombay Natural History Society & especially to our Group leader, Nikhil Bhopale. Nikhil is an keen birdwatcher with an eagle eye for spotting the minutest & distant objects. He has also won the Mumbai HSBC birdrace twice. It is to his credit that we could spot 140 species of birds during our trip.
2. The management and staff of Rann Riders for the excellent service and hospitality.
3. Our drivers, Junaid and Babu for being good guides and taking us to the right places at the right time!
4. My fellow camp participants & especially my room mates for being wonderful companions during the trip
